OY VEY!!!!

So...this whole MENOPAUSE thing sucks! My skin is even drier than it normally is; I didn't know that was possible. My mind is constantly foggy and it's a bitch to concentrate at work. I think if I wasn't in charge of my boss(hahaha) I might get fired soon. I forget everything and I think that if I didn't know I was going through Menopause I would think that I had the worst case of A.D.D. ever documented.

hang in there. It gets worse......lol

Are you taking any hormones or using any progesterone cream? I found that helped a lot. You can get natural progesterone at a health food store. Also, Vitex or St. John's Wart has helped me. I even give the girls St. John's Wart those first couple of days when their emotions are out of control. Don't know if it will help, but I thought I'd share.

Well, thank you for letting me know it gets worse. LOL!!! I'm looking forward to it.

I know I have already told you this, but keep in mind that your "menopause" is only temporary because of the shots. Also, the shots kicked it in full force, not gradually as it should happen. So when you go thru the "real" final menopause it should be a breeze. lol Hang in there kid, you are 1/2 way thru them. Love you!

I don't want to dissent Mom, but even naturally menopause can kick in full force. It depends on the woman, it can be quick and painful or long and more gradual. I think it is probably a lot like labor. It varies. Hope it is easier for you when you go through the real thing, though, Laura. Hang in there! Buy a pint of Ben & Jerry's if you need to. :)

Having gone mostly through it on my own, it varies as Lisa said. And, sometimes I thought I was losing all my marbles!!
Your body will adjust, though!
And, life is still gooooood!

hey, forget any other advice except the ice cream part. I always so, there is nothing that ice cream can't fix or at least help you forget. Either way, you'll be feeling better. In fact, please consider making it even more therapeutic by adding hot fudge and lots of whipped cream!!!

I am more than willing to take that advice. LOL!
