SMARTIES
I grew up with an extremely smart sister(that would be Lisa not the "others") and sometimes she was too smart for her own good. My family is filled with really smart people and they married really smart people. So having grown up around a lot of really smart people you would think that it would make it a little easier raising a couple of really smart people. Well, you think wrong my friend! LOL!! I love them with all of my heart but sometimes they like my sister are too smart for their own good. It's extremely frustrating but it's also a joy. I know that my family knows what I'm talking about seeing as how many of them have raised and are currently raising some smarties, but I believe they have raised us a little too.

You are absolutely right about that. We can learn so much from our children if we are willing. I know I have learned so much from you and Lisa. You are both very, very smart people.

Oh, Laura, I hate to be the barer of bad news, but it just gets worse the older they get. To top it off, I have a few children that seem to have inherited that Philhower wit. Sometimes my brain just aches at the end of the day as I try to keep up with them. I'll think about you often now that I know you're in the same boat. Love the kittens, too. Wish we could get some.
They are adorable, just starting to open their eyes. AHHH!!!!
