Yesterday Damian had an award ceremony in his class. I got off work long enough to go to it and I'm glad that I did. Damian got four, yes count them "FOUR" awards! He got one that everyone in the class got, one for being a rock star, one for star student, and one for a good attitude. Woo Hoo!!
Cheyanne also took her first steps without holding on to anything yesterday! She went forward with her hands in the air. She was really brave after that and started trying to take off everywhere. She also did a side step walk that I was very proud of, my little girl can not only walk forward but she can walk sideways too...hahaha!!! Damian fell on the floor while playing with her and she just tried walking right over him and fell right on top, we had a pile up on our living room floor.

I am proud of Damian! Cheyanne will be running around here soon. I can hardly wait to see her walk this weekend! Being a mom is terrific, but being a grandmother is a reward in itself. Watching my daughters with their children is a joy beyond compare!
