Here's a little update on Pat's ticker and the surgery.
When we went for Pat's Pre-op appointment on Thursday they decided to do the EKG then and not wait until the day of surgery. They did the EKG and then right away said that he had to go see a Heart Specialist for "Cardiac Clearance" before he could have the surgery. They scheduled this emergency appointment for Friday morning and did some tests. They told him that they were still getting the abnormal reading and would need to do more tests on Monday morning and we would need to postpone the surgery until they got the results back. We got the results back in record time yesterday afternoon and I'm glad to say that he got his "Cardiac Clearance". We will be rescheduling the surgery and so far we're looking at June 5th, we're just waiting for confirmation from his Ortho doctor. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.

I'm glad that things worked out and Pat's surgery is rescheduled. I am sure you will be glad when he is home recuperating! I will keep you in my prayers.
You guys are always in my prayers. Mike and I were so relieved to hear his heart is ok. You guys didn't need anything added to the situation.

Praise God!! I about had a heart attack just reading the first part. June 5th is on the calendar for heavy prayers. How wonderful it will be when this is done, and you can start getting things back to "normal" - whatever that will be after the surgery? :)
