MOLES!! (and not the kind on your body)

We have moles!! And while I think that they are really cute it's not great for the yard. Our dog Haley is digging to get to them and holes are popping up everywhere. So we are having to hose the dog down before she comes in the house or mud will be everywhere. Damian is doing well with his responsibilities that were given to him concerning the dogs. He makes sure they get fed, get their water, and he lets them out to go potty when we ask him. He is making me proud! He's also very excited about going back to school.

I am so glad he is handling his responsiblities well! That always makes a parent proud! Kudos to you and Pat!

Maddy has been in charge of Pepper for a couple years now (well, I still have to remind her EVERY day) but it is nice not to have to do the feeding and watering!

Maddy's excited to be starting the co-op in the fall. She asked me the other day what grade she would be in if she was in school. I couldn't remember, I had to start counting on my finger to make sure it was right. She would be in 3rd by the way!

I think the co-op is a great thing to be participating in. It's good that she is excited about it. I can't believe she would already be in third grade. My, how the time flies.

Wow! And I remember when she was just a little baby. Time goes by too fast.

OK. I have to say yeah to your kids doing great and now I'll depress all of you by reminding you that in a few months my oldest will be 15!!!! I just can't get over how fast time does go by. I am loving every minute, but it's still just too quickly. Laura, you'll just continue to love these little men growing up. It is so nice to send mine to gas up the car or go work on the vacuum cleaner or fix a drippy faucet. Ahhh, by the time he's trained in everything, some fair maiden will capture his heart and off he'll be. Ahhhh, but then come the grandbabies - right!! :)
